Rules:

Use this thread to find your buddy and determine your book! You can always start by posting books, authors or genres you are interested in! When you decide who you buddy and your book you will head on over to the FINAL SIGN UP thread (see link at bottom) and tell me your book and buddy there (there will be instructions to follow) If you are without a partner by the end of sign up I will match the remaining people up, so no worries...EVERYONE will have a buddy:-)

1.If you want to participate post your name and maybe let people know what genre(s) you are interested in reading and or any books that you're interested in reading.

2.If you already know who you’d like to read with, go to the Final Sign UP thread and post your information for me!

3.Whoever doesn’t have a partner, we will place with another person and you guys can pick a book together! If we have an odd number we can have groups of three, more people to discuss with!

4.I will create Buddy Discussion Threads for each Buddy group and you will be able to start reading and discussing on February 1st!

5.The challenge will span a month.

6.For each group we can set up a thread so the two of you can discuss without having to sift through a bunch of other conversation. But please leave us updates as to how far along you guys are and how you’re liking the book!

7.You CAN sign up for more than one Buddy Read...in fact it's encouraged! And I'm giving a full month just for reading this time around so it will give you more time for more books!!!

ANY QUESTIONS JUST ASK!

Once you have a buddy and a book go to The April Final Sign Up and post your book and buddy!

I'm new to buddy reads, I'm not sure how it works... but I would like to try out... is anyone interested in reading any of these: Edge of Dawn by Lara Adrian, Shadow's Claim by Kresley Cole, Highlander Most Wanted by Maya Banks, The Recruit by Monica McCarty or Thief of Shadows by Elizabeth Hoyt?

Im not sure what my girl is doing!! Will chase her up and let you know if we are back this month, it will be a continuation of last time if we are.... starting with I think . Will get back to you.

Leslie, I want to read too! But I can do it only in the second half of the month. Will that be ok?

Beileag I finished earlier this week. It was really good!

I'm more than happy to do a buddy read or two. If anyone wants to raid my TBR and see if we have anything in common knock yourself out :)

Yay, Leslie! Elishia, there's a prequel? :O I'm going to check it out. Thanks for the info. And you are very welcome to join us. More the merrier for BRs. I'm positive Leslie wouldn't mind at all!

I've been putting it off and putting it off and I don't know why since I love Marillier's writing. I now have to read it for a challenge which ends May 15 so I have to read it.

I've read the first two books in the Bridei Chronicles The Dark Mirror and Blade of Fortriu which I loved and have tried to get back to read the final book The Well of Shadesbut can't seem to fit it in though it's on tap to read in 2013.

I'm glad to know that Jenne, I'm eager to see how the author is going to create the new world of the series :)

Ooh, I love her writing too! I love the Bridei chronicles. Those are books that I stayed up all night to read. *sigh* this is making me want to re-read them again. I'd offer to read it with you but I'm trying to cut down on re-reading books. Sorry!

No worries. I don't reread at all. There are just too many books to read - why read something you already know the ending to?
