Aww..kkHow about the vamps are going crazy feeding and killing humans. And the humans are scared so they sent someone to seduce a superior vampire and have her convince the other vamps to not feed on humans anymore. The vamp and human fall in love, but their kind forbids them to do so and separates them, but they went out of their way to find each other again.
And..
The humans are polluting the sea and the Princess mermaid has to find a way to stop them before the sea is totally polluted and everything that lives their dies. The Mermaid princess falls in love with the human, but their kind forbids them to do so, (the humans are okay with it, but the mermaids isnt because the humans were polluting their territory and they still despise them) and separates them, but the mermaid and human went out of their way to find each other again.

He is the type of person who thinks deep thoughts about his life, but usually does not voice them out.
Despite Tomoya's sarcastic ways he has a knack for solving the problems of his friends, and seems to care for all of them deeply even if he does not want to admit it. He is also seemingly unaware that some of the girls at school show interest in him or pretends not to know. He loves to play innocent and lighthearted pranks on people; sometimes for his amusement, but mostly to help the victim in realizing his/her mistakes.
Though Tomoya is a delinquent he does not go around looking for fights. However when he does get into a brawl he is shown as a very tough fighter, able to take his opponent's blows and still manage to counter-attack fiercely.

{Personality} Alex is quite the jokester. Even at his own expense. He likes to have fun. When he became a vampire, his demeanor dropped a bit and he became more serious, since life as a vampire was a lot harder than one of a human. He became less careless and a risk taker. He didn't care about anything at all.
Though he can come of as an idiot through his actions, he's very intelligent. He was one of the students at school who had top grades and he had a whole good life planned ahead before that was ruined. That also changed through that.

Yeah, they meet immediately..and how about:Mermaid: Scarlet climbs onto the ship Tomoya is on and they meet.
Vampire: er..They meet when they are going hunting?
Scarlet looked hesitantly at the boat. She was really curious. Her mother had told her that that kind of curiousity could kill her, but she didn't really care. She needed to find out. She couldn't hold back. She bit her lip and swam towards the boat and hesitantly climbed on after grabbing the ropes on the sides and drying up, so she shifted.Alex was in a daze, not sure where he was going, just knowing he was thirsty, very thirsty. Every human seemed so appealing, but he had to hold back, he couldn't kill in a crows. He knew that he would be in danger himself if he would. He walked towards an alley, trying to keep his calm.
Tomoya is leaning out of the ship. He sees a large tail and wonder what that is. Maybe it's a large fish, or the mythic mermaid. Mermaid's are a myth, he know that, but rumors are spreading fast that many sailors has seen mermaids.Yuriya walks around the dark alley, hoping for a human to show up. Whether it's a street person, a gang, or whatnot, at least they have fresh, yummy, warm blood flowing through their veins. She press a finger to her lip and her fangs poked out, she smiles, she couldnt wait to sink these girls into a human's neck.
Scarlet glanced around at the men on the ship, biting her lip. She looked down at her body. Oh no... she was naked. That always happened when she became a human form. She couldn't stay out of the water for long though. She climbed on the deck, hiding from everyone and grabbing a piece of sail, wrapping it around herself.Alex was so absent, that he didn't even notice the girl walking in front of him. He bumped into her and with a groan, he fell on the ground. "What?" he murmured, slowly coming back to reality.
Tomoya yawned, it was probably just a large fish he thought walking away from the rail and the sea. He was to busy yawning to notice a girl wrapping herself in a piece of sail and bumped into her."Are you okay?" Yuriya asks bending down next to Alex, her fangs hidden by her lips, "You bumped into me and fell" she held out her hand, "want some help getting up?" she offered.
Scarlet gasped and then fell on the ground. She was already so unstable on her feet, and people bumping into her didn't really help. "He-hello?" she said hesitantly, looking up, but she couldn't see, since the sun was shining brightly in her eyes.Alex laughed softly and then took her hand. "Thanks, sorry, I wasn't really paying attention," he murmured, hiding his fangs as well. "What is a pretty girl like you doing in an alley like this anyways?" he grinned.
"Hey" he offered his hand to help her up, "What are you doing with a piece of sail around you for clothing?" he asks, "You know...that dosent keep very much hidden" he jokes."I..was..um" Should i trust him? Is he a vampire? Where's his fangs? Should i ask him to open his mouth to check? Would that be too rude? she thought to herself, well..just to be save she said, "Just walking around..i think im lost" she lied.
Scarlet took his hand and then stood up, grabbing the railing of the boat for support. "I.. I didn't have clothes," she said honestly, her cheeks blushing bright.Alex nodded, he tried not to look into her eyes, because his were already red, the contacts were fading. "Do you want me to help you get your way back?" he asked, though he really needed to drink but that was odd... this girl... she didn't smell human.
He raises his eyebrow, "Why not?" he asked out of curiosity, "If you dont want to answer that, you dont have too" she added.She nods, "Sure" Maybe that lie wasnt so good. Should i just direct him to a random house? She looks at his neck, it looks sooo yummy, she felt herself leaning towards him.
"I..." I'm a mermaid. Was that safe to say? Could she say it? Would he be disgusted with her if she did? She bit her lip, wondering.Alex smiled a bit at her and then gulped, her neck.. looked so appealing. The smooth cream coloured skin... He shook his head and quickly composed himself. "Where to?" he asked in a bit husky tone.
"Do you want some on my clothes to wear for the time being?" he asks her, "They might be a bit baggy for you though...""Huh?" she looks away from his neck to his eyes, "Er..i live on 41st street" she lied. "Just a few blocks away from Bowne Park"
"Yes, yes please," she stumbled over her words, stiffling a sigh of relief. She was glad he didn't want to know more about it. She was still blushing though.Alex nodded and then gestured for her to start walking. He couldn't stop staring at the curve of her neck though. He bit his lip.
"Okay then.." he says gesturing her to follow him. He walked back to his cabin and dug in his closet.She walked in front of him, she keeps looking back at him. Her gaze always landing on his neck, she just want to pounce on him and feed.
Scarlet followed him, glancing around. Though she was a bit unsteady on her feet, she was proud of herself that she could walk without stumbling.Alex let out a soft breath. He didn't want to think about this. He tried to shut his mind out entirely.
"Here" He says handing her a extra large white t-shirt and baggy jeans, "They might be..too big for you" he says, "want a pair of shoes? or are you gonna walk barefooted?"Yuriya turns, "Um..My name is Tachibana Yuriya" she introduced, "Whats yours?"
"Shoes?" she repeated, a bit confused. She looked from her feet to his and then saw the weird things he was wearing. "No thank you," she smiled a bit and then took the clothes. She hesitantly pulled them on after pulling the sail off her."Alex Collins," he said, smiling a bit. "Nice to meet you... Tachibana," he said softly.
"You sure?" he asks again, a girl barefooted to him is like a chicken asking to be turned into chicken nuggets, "i thought you girls were all about shoes and high heels, and stuff" he mumbles."It's actually Yuriya" she says, "Tachibana is my last name" she smiles, "Nice to meet you too, Alex"
Scarlet shook her head with a small smile. "I'm not like most girls," she said softly. She then looked at him, eying him. "What's your name?"Alex grinned softly. "Sorry, Yuriya, most of the times people tell me their first names first," he chuckled.
"Okazaki Tomoya" he answers, then added, "Tomoya is my first name. But you can call me Okazaki, if you dont feel like calling me Tomoya""Oh..well..i usually tell my last name first" she shrugs nonchalantly, "What type blood are you?" she asks.
"No no, Tomoya is fine," she smiled softly. "I'm Scarlet, just Scarlet," she chuckled softly, looking in his eyes with her beautiful blue ones. "Can I call you Tom?""That's a weird question," he murmured. "Which type of blood..." he trailed off. "I don't know. O I guess."
He laughs, "Sure sure. Go ahead, Scarlet" He smiles at her."O..okay" she says walking again, she lick her lips I gotta taste his blood sometime soon
