I haven't read Slammed so I can't compare it to that but so far it feels like a bunch of other books I've read.

Last 25% of the book finally drew me in. I also enjoyed Noah and his relationship with his brothers more than Echo and her story. Hated her friends, the ridiculous appearances they had to keep up, their rudeness, insensitivity, I could go on. And Echo wanting to fit back in with them- ugh.
I was disappointed with the way Echo's mom's storyline played out. To have her be bi-polar and depressed is fine, but to then turn her into that demon at the end....it just didn't mesh with Echo's good memories of her past with her mom, the caring and fun mom.(view spoiler) . And I hated her dad. And Ashley (view spoiler) . His explanation for their relationship is that 'life happens'. Really? And your daughter is supposed to just accept that?

I would love to start Falling anytime you are ready!
