You can't. That is the main purpose... is this new type of ward that floods brain with visual images which cause the victim subject to experience trouble focusing on the main goal.

So, now that the wards are keeping Steven busy, let's talk about the RaT's themes... I am in a little advantage here, since almost anything I read can apply, but, on the other hand, I'm not a faster reader, so... I was thinking maybe a spell-it-out option and the face your fears - you can use your mysteries and murders here, and maybe the cover hunt one? This 3 allow for a lot of options...and then we can have either hallow places, powers or creatures

What do you all think?

Okay by me, Sonia. I doubt I'll read any horror, except I'm thinking of listening to the audio of as it has been on my "TB listened to" list for awhile and I loved the book.

I'll also throw in a couple of mysteries. And, of course, the next Harry Dresden: .

Hence the spell-it-outs and cover hunts and face your fears one :)

Since our secret weapon is puppy-sitting, so far is me, you and Jessica.

And since the Hobbits are hot on our tail, we'll have to start reading like a banshee now :o)

I want to join the read a thon but can only commit to a couple of books because the dog still has all the power in our household :)

I don't read creepy books - I can't sleep when I watch creepy stuff or read creepy books :) So no help from me for those.

We decided to use the Greenwich hour for two reasons:

1.Is the "zero" hour. All time zones relate to it
2.Daylight saving time change will only occur on October 27th, so it won't interfere with read-a-thon timings.

Gook Morning cadets.

It's raining here at Lisbon, I arrived at work 10 second before it started - 2h40m later the air feels cold, damp and boring.

Can the summer hold a little more, pretty please? I'm not ready to autumn yet.

Although my mother brought me a full bag of quinces, that I'm dying to roast in the oven with honey... and autumn means roasted chestnut vendors... *slaps shelf* noooo I want to wear sandals and tshirts a little longer.

Book wise, I finished yesterday and since I needed an audio to listening while commuting, I finally started . Only 10% in and I'm liking Atticus already - HE CAN MIND TALK DOGS - how cool is that?
