I know, right? LOL! My friend said to me:
"...since I saw this photo, deciding if I could open the package from the bottom to eat that cookie early on or not. I mean, you need to grab fig newtons from the top down and that is clearly on the bottom, lol!"

I'll probably would twist the package till either the cookie was in place or the package breaks and I would have to eat them.

It is a good book, if you remember it's aimed at children. There are problems, but overall it's a good solid fantasy read. I admit my rating (4 stars) is partly based on nostalgia (I was a huge Tamora Pierce fan when I was younger), but I still really enjoyed it! I believe it's known as Tris's Book in the USA.

No you didn't. :D
You've posted wrong images for #178.
Team Member Reassignments - For more information and Team Assignements go here.
◆ We have decided to close the sign-up thread to the Tower Teams Reading Challenge, except for replacement players who exactly fit our needs.
◆ We are going to fill the gaps from absent Team Members on the Teams from within our current Team Members.
◆ In order to do this, we will reassign the Team Members of Banana Mania and the Mods of Cadet Blue to various Teams. We have been working on this for quite awhile and have tried to be as equable as possible.
◆ In an effort to keep Banana Mania as together as possible, we are moving some of the Mods.

I'm Sonia the team captain.
Question: If we do a perfect merge between blue cadets and yellow bananas, what do we get?
Answer: A MINION ARMY!!!

And first item on the list is to welcome the new team members, minion style.
No direct video posting, you'll have to click the link: http://youtu.be/wCkerYMffMo.
Next item? Read like minions and have fun in the process

**brushing confetti out of my hair** Glad to be here, along with a few of my former BananaManiamembers. I love the minions (and actually know what they are thanks to my grandson who introduced me to them). So I suppose we could also be BananaBlue?
I'm ready and raring to go for another month. Anything exciting happening in November? If not, I'll continue to read-read-read. That's never a problem!

I won't be reading anything for a few days, I kind of need to cry and just be depressed for a while.
:(

I plan on reading that in the next two weeks or so... doesn't bode well for me :(

Oh dear, I'm planning on reading this soon!

Maybe I will continue reading The Percy Jackson series since I've been really enjoying them, and they have some humor to them. I went on a book buying binge and bought all

Just need to finish the first series. :P (When I really like an author, I pretty much try to buy everything that they wrote.)

I liked this second series better than the first with Percy. :D
I wish I Liked the Kane Chronicles as much. I'm hoping that he does another crossover like Son of Sobek (Percy Jackson and Carter Kane short story)

Since in November/December there are no mod challenges to earn BAP's, I was thinking on doing some internal challenges, just for fun, and to motivate reading.
Are you with me?
Here's my idea:
The Minion Army Trivial Pursuit

Goal:Read a book per category till complete the "trivial cheese" and a bonus book.

how to play
option 1: Read a book that matches any of the themes of the categories:
Blue - Geography
Pink - Entertainment
Yellow - History
Brown - Arts & Literature
Green - Science & Nature
Orange - Sports & Leisure
Note: Concept, title, character, setting, cover.
option 2: Read a book with a cover color matching any of the colors of the categories:
Blue
Pink
Yellow
Brown
Green
Orange
option 3: Read a book to fill the "trivial cheese" using either option one (theme) or option two (cover colors)
BONUS READING
We are a mix between cadet blue and banana mania - read a book that has a yellow and blue cover, or that matches the uniform theme or a food one.

First member to finish all 7 books wins the game. The prize? Choosing the next boarding game to play - don't worry, you only have to choose the game. The chipmunks behind the evil brain will think of the how to play - unless you want to do it... is all about the fun!!!
I'll set the thread on the sister group soon.
Happy Readings
