Cadet Blue

I'm working on finishing up some books I had started but put down for others.

Okay, he's 54. I suppose that counts as "older man", haha. I was thinking he was closer to my age, lol.
Yes, Viggo is a good choice, though.

(I'm too lazy to do a graphic right now, so just pretend I put something pretty here haha)

Cadet Blue Landscape

Mary (Merinwe) has one where the edition she has linked shows an audiobook with 28 pages. Should a different version be linked? It's 602 pgs in hardcover: The Invisible Bridge
This is the only one I found that might be questioned.

How about a pretty dress?

I keep saying I'm going to read short books to bring my book count up but then a long library ebook will pop up as my turn or I'll need a long one for another challenge. Or the book I just really want to read is long.

I counted that audio book because it's still equal to whatever the hard cover would be, I think?

Edited that edition to reflect the HC length; added hours/minutes of audiobook.

Thanks! :)

I'm chugging away at my TBR pile, and others so I'll keep that tally going. I've got four titles I'm working on as we speak:

So anyway, lots of yard work for me to do this weekend while listening to an audiobook. I got through 2 discs of

Also, our theme will most likely be "Books in Uniform", which is explained/described HERE! If anyone really hates the idea of that theme, please speak up in that thread!
If you have any mini challenge ideas, please suggest them in that thread, as well! The mini challenges are explained more in detail HERE.
Thanks!

Finished

I finished one late last night, too. I'm just deciding if I'm going to do a review, or not.

2 of these forsythia:

3 pink peonies:

2 white peonies:

2 lilacs: I think this is their color but they might be the darker purple:

My mother owns this house I live in, a duplex that I share with my sister. My side was rented out to tenants who did nothing with their yard. My sister only did the bare minimum but that was more lack of money thing than being lazy. Now that her boyfriend has moved in they are fixing up their side too.

I just have to figure out my uniform book. I might do a "re-read" via my ears - and listen to

Mary, I love all of your flower choices. I remember forsythia and lilacs from where I grew up. I love the smell of lilacs. I used to take the petals and press them between book pages. I can still smell them in one of the books that has really thin paper pages. I miss lilacs. I don't see them around here.
That's nice that your sister and her boyfriend are able to work on their side of the yard now! I love working in the yard and doing house fixer-up stuff. And how sweet to live next door to your sister. At least, I think it would be cool to live next to mine! I miss her (she lives in Michigan, and I in Texas).

Good job, Lisa Kay!

I've never read a Linda Howard, but she's on my eternal "want to read this author someday" list. I know I have a couple of books of hers lying around from my aunt but I just haven't made the time for her. I should do that. I might even have the one you linked there. I don't remember!

I keep wondering if we should post some ladies too. Not my thing but if someone else wants to see them I'll gladly post them. All in good taste like the men we've posted of course.
