Cadet Blue

I guess I wasn't the only one distracted by the uniforms *giggles*

Awww, Teresa, you're so nice! I'm adorable??? *blush*
I LOVE THAT SCENE... probably because Monica is my favorite!!!! "YOU WERE MY FIRST KISS EVER!?!?!?!" hahahahaha

Sorry, I had to share that one - actually is a Harpie series, too bad the blue cover one is the third book. I am so gonna read Airborne for the mythical creatures challenge :o)

Nope. Please don't feed ideas to the brain when I didn't sleep my usual 8 hours - the RaT is the result from the last time that happened :o)

And yes, I also like to start books because I want to read them all. I've had to hunker down with True Blue, though, because it's the longest of my planned reading for this RaT and it's my uniform book so I *have* to complete it! I'm almost done, though!! It's really good. Then, I'm onto 3 or 4 really fast reading YA novels.

I'm almost finished with my blue book. Getting sleepy though so might have to finish it tomorrow.

I wonder if you finished yours! Been two hours since you posted about it. Will have to find out in the morning, hehe.

I'm having my Kindle read it to me while I do housework. According to my Kindle, I only have about 8% left. This one doesn't give a page count but the book is under 400 pages so not much left.

Have fun with all of the gardening, Mary!! I love to garden but we have problems with grackles getting into our veggies so I'm going to wait until I can set up a greenhouse to work on veggies again.
I think I may try to read a blue and/or uniform type of book every month, in honor of our team. Just for fun. We'll see.. I need to set up a shelf for uniforms and I have already started one for blue covers. I'm a very moody reader so I will just check each of those shelves every month and see if there's anything calling to me to read.

Yay! Just in time for the Sunday Update! Woohoo!
Yeah, I'm coming to the end of mine, too, Mary: HDLS.

Congrats on all reading that has been accomplished this week!
Going to bed a little bit after I check around Goodreads for more updates of any sort. Adieu!

Since I already pre-ordered Dead Ever After and will stop everything I have pending and jump right into it as soon as I have it on my kindle.
Maybe I should call sick tomorrow? *giggles*

*sigh*

I'm a database programmer, but now I was send as a task force to a big project testing set. It is crazyness installed.

What I hate is when I work my 8-hour shifts with big groups of people (like when we do over-nights, such as tonight and tomorrow night) and we all go to lunch at the same time. I have a hard time reading because they all want to talk and I would really just rather read because 8 hours is a long time to go without my reading, LOL! Plus, while I enjoy them all in general, I feel TOO stimulated from all the chatter (I'm an introvert and I crave my solitude if I'm working with people for long periods of time). It's hard sometimes to get my reading in and not feel like I'm snubbing them all but I liken it to everyone playing on their cell phones --reading is my pleasure, and I don't pester them while they are playing their games. When I read, I want to get lost in the story, not keep getting pulled out to respond to something someone else said. Bad enough I only get 30 minutes to read. During the day, I can escape to the bench outside the workplace, or even to the coffee shop at the book store. During the night, we keep the doors locked.
Reading at home is a different story. I don't mind family obligations and interruptions, naturally. But, when I'm "forced" into a social situation (lunch at work), it really irks me to have my precious time stolen from me.
Anyway, going to walk to the library. I've been putting it off because I have a book on hold but it's taking forever to get from downtown to my branch so I'll just get it later tonight or tomorrow.

While I have been tracking people who have posted NO book at all, I have NOT been tracking those who have NOT posted books since first joining. It is important that you give me this information, as I believe we have one or two bogus accounts.
Thank you.

(I actually wanted to do a facepalm picture but all the ones I found were so MEAN! I wanted to facepalm in jest but didn't have the heart to post those cruel things for someone so adorable as you! So, here's a Friends picture because I know it's your favorite show and this is one of my favorite scenes).
