What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

This book is translated from english to malay(Malaysian language) and it is a story about a young man who was in an accident and lost consciousness.. He then dreamt about his deceased mother and talked to each other..

That's all that I can remember about this book i know the info i gave are vague but when i borrowed that book I remembered the cover was white with a small house on the middle of the book cover.. I really hope someone can tell me what is the title for this book..

Could it be by Mitch Albom. If I remember correctly, the main charachter does not get into an accident, but decides to commit suicide and that's when he meets his mother.

Okay maybe this might help you guys.. The man got into the accident because he was drunk.. And then when he was talking to his mom he had discovered that the money for his college studies that were provided by his mom were from the work of cleaning houses
