I still haven't even finished last months group read but how about Throne of Glass or Seraphina? (Sorry, on the iPod so can't do the book links)

This one was quite hard, Tara, as you didn't specify which sort of Fantasy. :( Is it supposed to be all sub-genres (paranormal romance, UF, etc.) or just second world fantasy? There's also a lot of overlap between sci-fi and fantasy right now imo.

I've stuck to only second world as the sub genres of fantasy also have a chance of rearing their heads at certain points.
