Someone needs to give me a push.
;)
Got it all ready by my reading chair.

Once you get used to the flowery language this book series has an amazing plot, fantastic world building, and character development up the wazoo. :)

lol i read it when it first came out and i enjoyed it, it was a good read and completely different in its setup compared to other fantasy books out at the same time.
i do need to read the follow ups.

lol i read it w..."
Glad you liked it.

:S"
I haven't but do plan to join in this month.

:S"
I haven't either. But I'm going to read it with the group this month.

going to pass this month´ books"
To be honest, me either. I've looked at Kushiel before and despite rave reviews by some fans, I think the subject is not my cup of tea.

going to pass this month´ books"
Lara what did you think was boring?
It may be heavy on the erotica and strong female character but it surely cannot be classed as boring. Really?
Seriously what sort of stuff would you have preferred to read this month?

How far did you get Lara? Just not your cup of tea?"
not far at all. It was slow, sassy and just boring.
nothing to discuss here. couldn´t continue, period.
I see you have problems with it, too. (;

I haven't been able to concentrate on reading due to work. Lots of strange hrs.
:)
I hope to find it at least different, a new experience.
:)
*shrug*
What I'm hearing does suggest it might be difficult to discuss.

It appears, from the reviews, to be "50 Shades of Grey" taking place in one of Littlefinger's brothels in "A Song of Ice and Fire."
That said, jumping in head first and beginning tonight.

Started it last night and plan to read more tonight!

It was a very well written book; though you have to enjoy the journey that the writing takes you on, instead of concerning yourself with the destination..
It was a very original and unique Fantasy novel, indeed=D

Half way through the month, probably wont finish it by month's end because I am finding plenty of reasons to put it aside.

Personally, I think they all just keep getting better and better over time. It was a little slow to start, but I think the build up was worth it.
Books 4-6 are basically my all time favorite love story books, if that says anything about how the books and story progresses over time. 1-3 are wonderful, too, though.
I wouldn't really related this book to Fifty Shades, though. I actually enjoyed all of the Fifty Shades books, too, but aside from very vague, general similarities(the BDSM parts), they aren't at all similar to me.
