The Shoemaker's Wife by Adriana Trigiani excellent book, could not put it down!!

What was your least favorite read?
Speed Dating (Harlequin NASCAR, #2) by Nancy Warren typical, was supposed to be a romance, but there was no romance at all.

Discover any great new authors?
My Name is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliveira great writer, easy to read, one of the best books I ever read on the civil war.

Have any characters you wanted to beat with a frying pan?
Tanglewood Plantation by Jocelyn Miller Summer was just a bad character, annoying.

Reached (Matched, #3) by Ally Condie & Dead Witch Walking (The Hollows, #1) by Kim Harrison are still fighting for last place (I think I've found my April one already!)

Discover any great new authors?
Redemption (Penton Legacy, #1) by Susannah Sandlin , liked the world & the story a lot!

Have any characters you wanted to beat with a frying pan?
Lady of Light and Shadows (Tairen Soul, #2) by C.L. Wilson I didn't care for the heroine (way whiny) or her mother (much too "oh but I must" for my taste

Sandra J Weaver (sandraweaver) | 366 comments I really enjoyed Wild Invitation (Psy-Changeling 0.5, 3.5, 9.5, 10.5) by Nalini Singh and the Gray Court series by Dana Marie Bell which I read from the end of February into the middle of March. Dare to Believe (Gray Court, #1) by Dana Marie Bell Noble Blood (The Gray Court, #2) by Dana Marie Bell Artistic Vision (Gray Court, #3) by Dana Marie Bell The Hob (Gray Court, #4) by Dana Marie Bell . I also read and enjoyed Crazy by Eve Langlais . I didn't care for Once Burned (Night Prince, #1) by Jeaniene Frost and wanted to hit Vlad with a cast iron skillet.

Desperado (lethallovely) | 822 comments 1. Favorite Read: Twice Tempted (Night Prince, #2) by Jeaniene Frost
2. Least Favorite Read: Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2) by Sylvia Day
3. Great New Authors: Kylie Scott. I enjoyed Flesh (Flesh, #1) by Kylie Scott . her post-apocalyptic erotica featuring ZOMBIES (YAY!), very much. Lena Matthews. He's So Shy (Bad Boys, #1) by Lena Matthews was a cute IR.

4. Characters I Wanted to Beat with a Frying Pan:
*The abrasive, bitchy, TSTL heroine in Hot Ride by Kelly Jamieson .
*Eva AND Gideon in Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2) by Sylvia Day . I enjoyed "Bare to You" but I realized in RiY that the h/h are both hot fucking messes & I have gladly washed my hands of them & the freak show they call "true love."
*The YA protagonist of Forgive My Fins (Fins, #1) by Tera Lynn Childs . Spent the whole book being a selfish, evil, superficial bitch to the great hero simply for NOT being the guy she spent the whole book mooning over.

What was your least favorite read?
Ice Man (Blood Slaves, #1) by KyAnn Waters

Discover any great new authors? Diana Copland & Diana Gabaldon

Have any characters you wanted to beat with a frying pan?
Unfortunately, Lover At Last (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #11) by J.R. Ward made me feel that way at moments.
