Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments Sometimes while reading a book, we can be stuck in the same position for awhile. Come up with and share some good, funny, creative, or even helpful ways we can get up and get moving after reading a great book! :D

Sami | 793 comments This sounds like a great idea :) I'd love to hear other people's ways of getting fit while reading

My friend and I, on the rare occasions we do go on a treadmill/bicycle machine, will always cover the screens with a novel. The time passes quicker when you're not looking at it, and we get a fair amount of reading done too!

Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments That's a great idea! I am brainstorming ideas so I can post! Feel free to post anytime you want, you don't have to wait for other people!

Sarah (simplysarah13) | 315 comments Download an audiobook to your iPod or mp3 and go running/walking while listening to it. :)

That would be nice:D

Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments Also, all of these exercises don't have to be things you do while reading. They can be exercises you do after you finish reading. Have you ever sat in a chair for so long (reading) and you get up and it's hard to move? We can also post exercises to help get those muscles moving around again! :)

This is a great idea. I never thought of doing that before. It would certainly making walking less of a chore.

I wish I could do this Sami, but my exercise bike's screen is designed in such a way that anything I put on it would fall straight off!!

Yeah, I like running so when I go on a run, it would be even more exciting to get to listen to a book while doing something I love!!

It would certainly make a difference. That way too you are killing two birds with the one stone.

Sarah (simplysarah13) | 315 comments If any of you have a Wii and Wii Fit, you could even listen to audiobooks while you play it.
There's a 10 minute run you can do on there and that'd definitely help kill time.

Oh that's a shame - they sometimes have stands you can buy separately and attach to the bottom to put your water bottle on and things! But it only works for hardbacks tbh, paperbacks just snap shut

Wii Fit sounds good! I wish I had it

Sami | 793 comments idea 2: http://dreamsofadventures.tumblr.com/...

replace laptop with book.

idea 3: after reading, run up and down the stairs pretending to run away from the latest baddy. :D

Good idea Sarah, I never thought of doing that. I have a Wii fit and I like to do the step up plus one but it gets boring looking at the same screen all the time. I will definitely be buying an ebook to listen to while I exercise
