I'm sure there's a lot of people with this problem so...

I'm an unpublished author with no idea when I'm going to get published. I want to use goodreads for promotion of my book so it'll get pulished faster. So I use thos accout to create an author profile Ari Delta . And then I make another account because I want to keep my normal life seprate from writing. And so, I request the prodile. This all happened months ago. I still do not have my author profile. Anyone else irritated with this?

You can make a second profile for that and not have the 'author' profile designation, though I'm not sure how you think that having a Goodreads author profile will help you get published faster. Do you currently allow people to read the whole book for free? Because many publishers will not take a book like that- you need to actively shop the manuscript to either them or agents, instead of waiting for them to come and find your work on Goodreads.

Ebooks published on other sites are ok. Ones "published" by existing on Goodreads (in the writing section or elsewhere) do not qualify.
