Stephen Sweeney (stephenjsweeney) I thought I'd make space opera fans aware of my new work, THE HONOUR OF THE KNIGHTS, the first novel in the BATTLE FOR THE SOLAR SYSTEM trilogy.

If you like your space operas with lots excitement, danger, intrigue, and titanic battle scenes, whilst also retaining a quite human element, then you should check it out.

I was always a fan of shows like Babylon 5 - a great plot with a story arc that kept the writing [for the most part:] tight.

I've put together an official website for it, www.battleforthesolarsystem.com, where you can read the first three chapters and discover a wealth of information about the trilogy's setting.

Title: THE HONOUR OF THE KNIGHTS
Author: Stephen Sweeney

Stephen Sweeney (stephenjsweeney) Descriptive fights involving a large number of combatants, including fighters, frigates, battleships, and carriers. The scenes are not overly long as to become drawn out and tedious to read, but are not just a short suggestive paragraph either.

The main characters are starfighter pilots, so at certain times during the story they have to engage enemies in combat.

You can read the first three chapters here,

Stephen Sweeney (stephenjsweeney) Just a little update if anyone is interested: THE HONOUR OF THE KNIGHTS is meeting with some good reception and is now being stocked in a number of branches of Waterstone's in the UK.

So, if you're after an exciting sci-fi read, either for yourself or someone else, then check it out. Sample chapters are still available on the website.
