I think it was generally agreed in a previous comp that one didn't.

If we got more votes I don't think it would matter so much but if everyone voted for themselves we wouldn't have many votes left over.

There's usually a reminder from Simon that voting for oneself is very declasse indeed. In fact, disembowelling may be mentioned.

I wish I knew what declasse meant....

I can see who votes but let's face it what is the point of voting for yourself?

I remember watching the elections when I was a lass and they showed the Prime Minister of the time (no - it wasn't Gladstone!) going to the polls. I said to my dad "I wonder who he's voted for," and Dad said, "Himself!" I was absolutely horrified that the Prime Minister of my country could be so unsporting!

That's good, was just making sure I wasn't shooting myself in the foot if I didn't vote.

Why not vote for someone else Emma?

Personally - I think the subject(s) were too much - there has to be a way of making a clear winner - a second poll maybe? just two days and done.

I voted, but it was really difficult to choose!
