I found they were all much the same - an enjoyable read that didn't tax the brain too much. You go through Kinsey's ups and downs in love, life and work throughout the series. So if you like the Kinsey character you, you should like all the books.

I guess I just assumed that like any series it would have it's ups and downs.
I like to do a little "dessert reading" now and again and this seems like a nice new (to me) series that could provide some nice fodder.


In the beginning, she was probably excited by the whole idea and now that she's further she's got momentum on her side, but in the middle, the excitement was wearing out and she still felt so far from the end.


Grafton gets more descriptive and Kinsey more reflective over time.

It's one of my mom's favorite series, which is why I picked it up. I is for Innocent is my next one.
