All your books appear to have been published under D.L. Lang, so that's what I put on the combined profile. The URL should be unchanged.

Similar problem: I created my Author Profile based on my first book, on which my name appears with my middle initial. My second book omits the middle initial and when I tried to add the second book, GRs created a new Author Profile that GRs will not let me claim.

Is it possible to merge or link these two Author Profiles? Failing that, how do I delete the second Author Profile (or better still, claim it as also mine)?

Final question: how do I add my second book to my original Author Profile despite my name appearing on the book without my middle initial?

My book, Texas Redeemed, is duplicated on Goodreads -- I can't seem to fix this. Also, neither my book nor my name appear in the search results. It states "no results found." Could someone please assist me in fixing this. Readers cannot find my name and can't find my book by title, either. Only I can see this, when I log in and search my author profile. Please assist, and thank you. -- Isla Bennet

Duplicate edition merged.

Search is cached, and can take some time (up to 48 hours, sometimes) for the search index to update with new books. Searching by ISBN or ASIN usually updates within minutes. And searching by B00CPPQ0HK does indeed already work.

Hi Isla, I'm sure you know by now, but I searched your title and it indeed came up with your author name! I'm having a similar problem. Did you just have to wait a few days? Laurie Dubay

Hi, Laurie. My listing updated this morning, so the wait was under 24 hours. When did you create yours?

Hi, Laurie. I just completed two searches -- first your name, then your book title -- and I found Winter Fire about midway down in the search results. So your book has also been updated in the database. Cheers! Isla
