I am looking for a book to read to my Preschoolers about someone losing his hat and a bird makes a nest in it. It is a picture book/early reader. The hat may have been lost by a bear??? but I am only sure it is a lost hat and a bird makes a nest in it. Thank you in advance!!!

I don't have any specific book to recommend, but I've read a lot of picture books and this is a popular plot. Try asking a librarian for one.

Don't know if you are still looking for this, but there is also "Cat and the Bird in the Hat" by Norman Bridwell of "Clifford the Big Red Dog" fame.
Hm, Susie never answered the other suggestions, and has a private profile. Next mod. can move this to abandoned, imo.
