this may not have much to do with the movie but i have come up with a conundrum. warlocks like Magnus bane and Tessa gray are supposedly immortal but they are born as babies, the thing is if they were immortal they would not age and as we know Magnus is 8 000 years old more or less and he looks like he is 19 not as if he were a baby. I just don't get it.

Yess warlocks are immortal And maybe they just age untill some age, until they reach their maturity maybe?
I think that is it :)
they stop changing at the age of 18 just like the fey, take a closer look at the books, then you will know
