I dunno. I think it had just the right amount of sham.
Could use a bit more shill though.

Jimi, care to give us a synopsis of Moonweavers? I think with Howey being the club pick I might just make May my month to read self-published writers.

Could you at least move your sham thread to the correct Author Shamming folder?

Read the FAQ if you don't know how to set the section on a post.

Dear Author,
When presenting yourself to strangers on the Internet, it is vitally important to understand that all anyone knows about you is what you write. If your postings are riddled with spelling mistakes and bad grammar, people will judge you accordingly. This is doubly so if you are an author trying to sell your writing -- if you can't be bothered to copy-edit your advertizements, people will assume your book is the same way and not even bother to look at it.
HTH, HAND

Dear Aut..."
You've got to copy-edit your advertisements, as well as your advertizements.
Come on man, if you are going to criticize someone for shoddy spelling and grammar, you better make sure that your own is nothing less than perfect.
I like Jimi, and I might actually check out his book because I think it will be very funny.

Jimi, I love what you are doing here and I hope you keep it up. I hope you understand that while I liked reading up to chapter four, I will not be paying to read any further. I think charging five bucks is a bit steep for what you're putting out there. There's a lot of professional stuff I can read for far less money. Best of luck!

You're right. Billingsly speaks Jive, not Incomprehensible Internet Rambling.
I have Jabbas toenail in my pocket.
