I have to say, this is my moment to brag! E.D. has been getting some wonderful reviews here on Goodreads, and I've been crowing ever since the first one came in lol

I take it as a huge compliment that readers are enjoying the book I spent so long working on. And I am trying to let the reviews speak for the book, as I struggle to talk it up to people. An example when I rang an independent bookstore:

Me: I've written a book...
Them: Wonderful. What can you tell us about it?
Me: Well, it's 527 pages, and...
Them: But what about the book, exactly?
Me: Oh, right. Yes, well, it's called Enchantment's Deception, and it's fantasy... Oh, and I wrote it!
Them: Thank you, we'll get back to you.

It wasn't until I hung up that I realised they'd not asked for my contact details! How could anyone reject such a marvellous sales pitch? lol

(Now do you see why I'm letting the reviews speak for the book? I certainly can't do it!) :)
