Romance Readers Reading Challenges discussion

Looking for authors that write in the new edgy romance genre. Tattoos, piercings, people with dark and twisty pasts...(don't usually like paranormal)

These are my favorite authors...can anyone tell me more books/authors similar to them? and is there a new genre name for these?

Jamie McGuire, R.L Mathewson, Abbi Glines, Jessica Sorenson...

and then I also like J.R Ward, Heidi McLaughlin, Tina Reber, Sylvia Day..

Have you read by Jamie Salsbury? It hada tattooed hero and a heroine with a bad past. Not paranormal at all. Great book! :)

I found one author in a group I pulled up with Patricia Briggs that I hadn't read but who was similar to all kinds of authors I loved. Wen Spencer. So I just ordered from the library. Thanks Barbara!
