Mallory | 8 comments Hi fellow book junkies. I'm looking for a new paranormal romance series. I like series similar to Kresley Cole's immortals after Dark and Larissa ione's Demonica/lords of Deliverance where it's a different couple in each book as opposed to Sookie or Cat & Bones or Riley Jensen where the the romance is drawn out over the series. No YA please, I'm a mother of two small children. I need some swearing in my escapism.

Thanks in advance for fueling my addiction :)

Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunters
J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood
Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed
Gena Showalter's Lords of theUnderworld
D. B. Reynolds' Vampires In America
Lora Leigh's Breeds
Tina Folsom's Scansguard Vampires
Laurann Dohner's New Species

something there might get you started

Michelle Tempted By Books (michelletemptedbybooks) | 195 comments Definitely try Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs.

I like Argeneau as well Lynsay Sands, though not everyone does. If you like Comedy I would recommend Molly Harper and Katie MacAlister.

I agree. There is action against the enemy. But the sexual innuendos are hilarious.

Meghan Doidge | 39 comments Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series has different narrators/love stories but with an interconnecting plot line. Some books are better than others but I really like all her work.

The series starts with Bitten.

Jai | 81 comments I'm a huge fan of Cassandra Gannon's series. It starts with Warrior from the Shadowland, and there are five or six books so far. Another due out this summer. They're exactly what you've requested, but completely different from what anyone else is writing.

She's got some other standalones that I found quite funny.

Elizabeth Corrigan (elizabethrcorrigan) I'm reading Heart of Brass (Clockwork Agents, #1) by Kate Cross , which is a steampunk romance series with different couples in each.

Maddy Barone (maddybarone) | 74 comments I wonder if you would enjoy Marjorie Liu's Dirk & Stells series? Dirk & Stell is a private dective agency, and the agents all have supernatural talents. Psychometry, Mind Readers, Fire starters, Shapeshifters, more. I begins with Tiger Eye and continues with Shadow Touch. I enjoyed Tiger Eye, and all the other books in the series, but Shadow Touch is amazing. I'm re-reading it again right now.
Tiger Eye (Dirk & Steele, #1) by Marjorie M. Liu
Shadow Touch (Dirk & Steele, #2) by Marjorie M. Liu

Also, try Maddy Barone's time traveling series.

Did anyone mention Michele Bardsley's Broken Heart Vamps series?

Also Jennifer Ashley's Shifter's Unbound series.

I'm sure you've heard of Meljean Brooks. Her Iron Seas series is good. Different main characters each book.

Sleeping With the Wolf I'm the Vampire, That's Why Pride MatesThe Iron Duke for the first book in each series.
