Cicilia Johnsen in what book is the perfect man? I am writting a paper and I need a book where in there is a perfect guy. the guy all girls dream about and who is realistic. What are girls looking for in a guy?

Gretchen Started a topic on my ideal book hero awhile ago. Here is the thread. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Honestly? This one. Noah Calhoun really does hold everything I could want. He has his flaws, sure, but nothing I couldn't get past. He's perfect where it matters.

Stephanie Silvar In almost every way Noah Calhoun is the perfect man. Who wouldn't want a man who sticks with them through thick and thin. Every girls dream is to find a guy that will truly love them, be loyal, be dedicated, intelligent, romantic, loving, hard working, and of course a man that keeps his word. Noah of course, as well as every other man in this planet has their flaws. However, his flaws are nothing compared and no where near important when you have the love that he did for Allie. He didn't care one bit about her money, and since the moment he saw her at the fair he fell in love. He never gave up even at the worst of times, when Allie lost her memory, she got Alzheimer's. Any man could have easily forgotten about her and moved on with their life. But no, Noah is not that man, Noah stayed dedicated to Allie because he loved her. he suffered daily hearing people tell him he was never going to make Allie remember him. Did that matter to him though? No. Noah tried and tried every day knowing that one day he would succeed. I personally would love to have a man just like Noah.

Chelsey Way too many perfect male characters out there! ha ha
I suppose for myself, the Byronic hero holds many attractive qualities.
However, as every women will have a different opinion of what she finds attractive, I'm sure you'll get many different answers.

If you're looking for real life, then I suppose I would say that I find my husband incredibly attractive. (Suppose I should - I married him, after all! ha ha)
He's funny, charming, confident, hard working, passionate, and level headed. I also think he's hot and has great tattoos, but I digress!

But, if you are you looking for fictional characters, then I will list the following characters, along with the books they appear in, and which qualities I most enjoyed about them:

Alexander Barrington - The Bronze Horseman, by Paullina Simons
- Self sacrificing (saved the heroine numerous times)
- Brave (war hero)
- Sexy (good looking and good in bed. Yup. Those are important! ha ha)

Robert (last name???) - A Girl Like You, by Gemma Burgess
- Funny (I laughed so much at what he said)
- Confident
- Puts his heart out there (makes a grand gesture toward the heroine)

Christian Grey - FSOG Trilogy, by E.L. James
- Charismatic alpha male
- Passionate
- Tells Ana details of what he likes/loves about her (women always want to hear the details. Ex: You look nice, vs. that color looks stunning on you. Now which do you like better? See! I told you! :p)
- Opens up to her in ways he never did with other women
- Successful
- Intelligent
- Cultured (Speaks several languages, plays the piano, dresses well, well traveled, etc).
I could go on and on. Anyway, moving on.

Good luck with your research!

Lynsey I can't think of any book that I've read that depicts "the perfect man." Nor "the perfect woman." But I prefer my characters with flaws, even if it doesn't make them "likeable" people. Okay, that being said, while I certainly don't think that Noah Calhoun is "the perfect man" (though he seems very nice, especially in the book, not as dark and brooding as Noah in the movie), I DO think that Ryan Gosling...LOL.
