I wish that marketing options could be laid out clearly and transparently, and above all, kept simple. And then I looked at myself, and particularly my own website, www.theindietribe.com. To my horror, I realised that I was as guilty as most at confusing self-published writers. The site was oozing a myriad marketing opportunities, which was probably confusing any author that cared to look. I doubt they could see the wood for the trees. So out came my scythe and I set to ruthlessly pruning The Indietribe's book promotion options. I've got it down to two simple choices, both representing extreme value for money, and both guaranteed to reach out to a totally relevant audience - the Indie book readers that visit my site in their droves.
