Finally got my book up and running on Smashwords and I know for a fact that I have 2 sales (my aunt and grandma) from Barnes and Noble for Nook, but smashwords still shows no sales (after 2 days). Is it just really slow or is there something I'm missing as far as reading the reports?

If you go to your Sales and Payment report, you'll see that BN is WAY SLOW in reporting to Smashwords. (For me it currently has only been updated to 2/28/2013.)Like you, I know I made a sale on BN but it isn't showing up yet on Smashwords. I keep checking.
smashwords reports quarterly. you will see your sales in 3 months unless they are directly on sw.
Depending on the vendor, you'll see sales numbers at different times. SM pays quarterly, but some vendors will report sales monthly. iTunes reports monthly. Barnes & Noble, in my humble experience, merely points and laughs at me before telling me not to quit my day job. That could just be something they do for me, though.
