Currently reading Six-Gun Tarot, which I'm enjoying so far, and Angelmaker by Nick Harkaway.
Scott, have you read any of Michelle West? Definitely epic. I'll also throw out Lorna Freeman for high fantasy.

I've not read Michelle West or Lorna Freeman but they are now on my list - thanks for the recommendation!

Well, just incase you haven't read him yet: Brandon Sanderson IMO does a pretty good job of keeping high fantasy alive while simultaneously avoiding treading on familiar grounds too much.
Mistborn: The Final Empire and sequels, Elantris, Warbreaker, and his epic Stormlight Archive with the first book The Way of Kings out and the second coming late this or early next year.
If you like heroic saga's Patrick Rothfuss's Kingkiller Chronicles is a good bet. The final book isn't due for a year or more though (might be a lot more).
Finished Memories of Ice (My Review). I'll be starting House of Chains once I finish Wool Omnibus as my Malazan read continues.
I also finished listening to Song of Susannah (My Review).
On to The Dark Tower as I conclude my audio reread of the Roland's quest for the tower.

This was supposed to be In Reply to Joseph who wrote Finished The Gods of Pegana and moved straight into Time and the Gods, both by Lord Dunsany.
Those are both magical and unique. No one else could pull off the weird names, lack of information, and sometimes lack of plot and still have a box of glittering gems of short stories.
There are a good selection of his works on Project Gutenberg for free download, if you are looking for some more.

Listening to Hounded while driving around. It's pretty light, and is something I think I needed. I think I prefer the Dresden or Connor Grey books, but I'm not unsatisfied or otherwise disappointed. Didn't really start much into Wool Omnibus this weekend like I had planned. Maybe tomorrow, after I've caught up on GoT...

I'm reading The People Of The Mist by Haggard. Just started so still to early for an opinion, though in general I do like his work.
I'm listening to The Adventures of Robin Hood. Even though I'm familiar with the story I've never acturally read the book. Only in Ivanhoe have I read of Robin's adventures. Way past time. There are plenty of different versions by different authors all with the same title. Any much better than the others?

Yeah. That was my experience with it at well."
And mine :)
Currently reading Wool Omnibus and listening to Sandworms Of Dune (the less said about that the better.)
Just finished Confessor, book 11 and the final volume of The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind. Probably the longest series I have ever read in terms of page/word count, but worth it in the end.
Will be joining the renegade read as soon as I have finished Wool.

Now, well, I am about to throw down and read Bitter Seeds, unless something else grabs my attention of course. It is either that or The Fog, written by James Herbert.
Steadily reading through Carrie as well...

Yay for summer!

Enjoy that while it lasts. While summer still means vacation, it's much shorter and when you're not on it, there is usually extra work to cover the ones who are.
At least where I work.

If you had waited until next week you could have bought The Human Division as a compendium instead of paying for each part :)

White Night is one of my absolute favorites in the series.

Starting the Audible version of Red Seas Under Red Skies

We'll see how it goes. The high point for me so far has been Dead Beat, but that may have more than a little to do with the climax.

Dead Beat is good, but you still have Changes and Cold Days too. Those plus White Night are the 3 I've given 5 stars to.
I'd be surprised if you don't like at least one of those 3 better, but everyone's different.
Changes is probably the best book in the series so far, but White Night is still probably my favorite.

Still trying to finish Erikson's The Crippled God and the last Wheel of Time novel, which have been sitting on my bedtable for some time now.

Now on to On Basilisk Station.

Regarding my next book I'm not so sure. probably will continue with the series as I read only first book so there is an option. Too much mountain biking lately so less time for books...

I just read Doctor Who: Summer Falls today. I would be an absolutely wonderful children's novel that could be read without knowing anything about Doctor Who. Being a Whovian makes it more enjoyable because it adds an extra layer to the story, but the story is very sweet on it's own. It kind of reminds me of Coraline.
I picked up the hardback of The Golem and the Jinni. I'm enjoying it so far. I think it's the first paper book I've picked up this year. The writing is very good, the edition is physically gorgeous, but I'm having a hard time with that two-page spread thing and holding a book. It only works while sitting at my desk eating lunch. I think I'm officially a Borg.

I'm also reading Wool Omnibus and erm... I probably shouldn't judge it yet. I'm sure it gets better.

Then it'll be back to my regularly-scheduled The Mongoliad: Book One in audio and my friend's book in print.

I'm also listening to The Magicians and Elantris.

I really want to read NOS4A2 after hearing all of you mention it. I need to stop coming on these boards, my tbr pile keeps on getting bigger!

Next up it's back to Peter V Brett with The Daylight War

I also find this to be a problem :P

Thanks a lot, ill for sure take a look.
I read Alif the Unseen, nearly in 1 day (which is fast for me). I really hope S&L picks it up as a Fantasy pick soon.

I also really enjoyed the Demon accords. According to posts on facebook by Conroe the book 5 is due out in early June some time.

Enjoying the first because Butler always delivers. Enjoying some of RPO but am not too keen on the protagonist. Hoping that improves as the story progresses.
