Z○e *♥ItsGreekForLife♥* (ItsGreekForLife) I've read this one already last year, I believe it was. I should read it again though because I don't have too much memory of it. From what I do remember, I'd say that it was pretty good. I like the character with animal ears the most but the story gets you feeling for the stuck up prince, also.

Hong (zen_strike) | 9 comments I just finished volume 9 and I really want to like it, but the story just doesn't feel executed well. it's like the arcana of time is being used to drive character development which makes all of the characters seem really flat to me. :( I keep waiting for it to really impress me, but looking at the pretty art is fun too...

Z○e *♥ItsGreekForLife♥* (ItsGreekForLife) You're already past 9? And it isn't all that good? I'd agree with you that the art in the anime is pretty, though.

Hong (zen_strike) | 9 comments Haha yeah... I'm a bit of a binge reader. The art is gorgeous!

KWinks (icameheretoread) | 60 comments One of my teen book club kids loaned this to me awhile ago. I remember liking it, especially the art. It's your typical shojo. The terrible prince that can be changed with true love and the to-the-death protector who is, of course, in love with his charge. What stood out for me was the way Nakaba stuck to her traditions. She wears clothing from her culture, she refuses to get bogged down in the politics (despite the fact that her life may be in danger). She's pretty kick ass. I think it could have used more meat to the story (especially after we just read Bride of the Water God, which is similar but less fluffy).

Mia R (mightysnowwoman) | 15 comments I thought the book was okay, but nothing too amazing. This may be odd, but Loki was the only character I was actually invested in. The others characters were somewhat flat and uninteresting to me.
