Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Alrighty guys. Good luck with this month's challenges. Any books you've already finished will still count.

1. Gay Pride Month - Read a book with a gay or lesbian character (doesn't have to be the main).

2. National Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Month - Read two books: one with APPLE scrambled in the title/author name and one with CARROT done the same way.
------(Ex: BLAck Blood by ChristoPhEr Pike)

3. Nursing Assistants Day - Read a book with a character (not necessarily the main) that works at a clinic, the hospital, or another medical center.

4. Fathers and Mothers - Read two books: one where the main character has a good relationship with their father and another with the same concept but with their mother.

5. D Day - Read a book that has a battle or war. (The main and secondary characters don't necessarily have to be in the war; if they are listening to the radio, for example, and they hear that the U.S. has just won a battle in World War III, that will work as well.)

6. Summer Solstice - Read a book with "Summer(s)" in the title or author's name.
