Stumbled across yet another lawsuit involving PublishAmerica and it instantly brought back some super bad feelings. Made me pissed all over again and I was one of the lucky ones who managed to get out from under them.

So I'll make this promise again. If you're an author that is looking for different avenues to get published (print versions), do NOT use PublishAmerica. Ever. Ever! I'll personally smack your hand if you try it. Hell, I'm a computer tech, too. I'll fire a virus or something your way. :)

If you need some help, trust me, there are SO many better ways to get published than to use them. I've used both Lulu.com and CreateSpace. Both were awesome and easy to use. AND it only cost me the price of a proof copy to do it. I can help out if you need some advice. Interested in knowing what steps are involved? I'll be more than happy to tell you.

If I can prevent publiSHAMErica from signing anyone up then it's totally worth it. It's the least I can do to repay them for all the pleasant experiences I had to go through.

Need help turning your work into a physical book? Ask away! I'm a Microsoft Certified Tech who's determined not to let publiSHAMErica get any more victims!!
