“Ilona Andrews” is the pseudonym for a husband-and-wife writing team. Ilona is a native-born Russian and Gordon is a former communications sergeant in the U.S. Army. Contrary to popular belief, Gordon was never an intelligence officer with a license to kill, and Ilona was never the mysterious Russian spy who seduced him. They met in college, in English Composition 101, where Ilona got a better grade. (Gordon is still sore about that.)

Gordon and Ilona currently reside in Texas with their two children and many dogs and cats.

They have co-authored two NYT and USAT bestselling series, the urban fantasy of Kate Daniels and romantic urban fantasy of The Edge and working on the next volumes for both.

They have one of the best author websites around and I suggest yo pay it a visit if you have not had a chance.

The Kate Daniels series is amazing, and I've read the first book of the Edge series. Both were written wonderfully, with great characters.

I love how they interact with their fans. That is really awesome!

I liked the post where they were having lunch and talking about how the glass on their son's cell phone seemed to break easier on the latest version. Then their devious minds went off on a tangent about how you have nothing but your cell phone and you need to make an escape. You break your cell phone's glass and Viola! You've got an instant weapon or means of cutting any bindings. lol Too funny.

love this author duo!!! kate daniels is my probably my favorite series!

I've never looked at a picture of them. I'm surprised at how young they are. For some reason they were an older couple in my mind. I think they are the best author's in this field as for keeping in touch w/fans, having a good website, offering freebies, etc.

Yes they were great and the con was fantastic. Also got to talk to people like Richelle Mead,Kaitlin Kittredge,Jackie Kessler,Jaye Wells, K A Stewart,Mellisa Marr,Kelly Armstrong, and more.

I would love to go to that convention people always seem to have such an awesome experience.
