Crazy for Young Adult Books discussion

I noticed that every reader uses different kinds of bookmarks. As for me, I use receipts, movie tickets, business cards and random stuff I find in my desk drawer. What about you? :)

I have a Shhh, I'm trying to read! Bookmark and the Shh is in glittery rainbow colors because I'm gay and even if I'm not reading a gay ya book or gay themed novel, there's always a little Heyyy, in the book with my book mark!

I use post-it, because I always lose my bookmark.

I use a wooden bookmark with an owl at the top. ^^

Real bookmarks, bookmarks gotten from buying books online, but also stuff I find around the house. Tickets, receipts, strings or anything else.

Also got a few really nice bookmarks that I use in special books. :)

Real bookmarks, random pieces of paper, pictures, string, bobby pins, hair ties, receipts, random cards (like discount ones) movie tickets. Really the first thing I can find I will use :)

I dont have an actual bookmark so i just use anything i can find to mark my page :)

Mostly I use the receipt that comes from teh Library when I check the book out... Otherwise its some random receipt floating around my car, lol.

I have tried buying real bookmarks or making them but I always lose them! I will be sitting somewhere and reading and Ill move and bring the book but forget the bookmark. Oh, the life of a reader.

i use the Plum advertisement bookmarks that Coles/Chapters/Indigo hands out with your book purchase.

Well ill use anything that won't harm my books lol. I've used pictures, string, a sock, pencil, movie ticket, library card, ect. Lol right now I'm currently using my phone in my book. Some how I never use an actual bought bookmark.

My favorite types of bookmarks are ribbon or cloth bookmarks, or really nice paper ones - y'know, the kind that have pretty designs and gilt-print sayings and pretty tassels. If I am forced to use a random piece of paper, I have to trim it all neatly and draw little decorations all over it.

I usually just close a book and put it down, I have a knack of being able to pick them up and open straight to where I last was. But I won a cute pack of magnetic bookmarks on World Book Night so I've been using a few of those to pretty my books up.

I use little bookmark monsters that you put on the corner of they page. They are really cute easy and fun to make.

I got mine from Barnes & Noble and its like a string with a little flower on one end and the part that hangs on the top is an owl and its blue ! my all time favorite color ! and the owl is silver its gorgeous ! look it up on barnesandnoble.com i seriously am in love with it !

I make my own bookmarks with colorful paper, zentangle designs, laminate stuff from Hobby Lobby, and a cute ribbon. I love it bc I get to be creative and each one I make is unique:).

Yeah I love it and I never lose the bookmarks because I really like them and I usually put my name all pretty on them and a quote so everyone knows its mine and can't steal it. There aren't really a lot of people with my name:)

I use post-it sticky tabs. I always carry my books in my purse and this way I stopped losing my place because my bookmark had fallen out. They work great and I can usually read two or three books before I need to get a new one.

lol R. But i used to do that but then my string that i wrote a few posts earlier stays riht in plc . And at first i used those page clips but i forgot bout them and i lost all of them

I use anything but an actual bookmark! Haha! I'll usually end up ripping a piece of paper from something around me as a bookmark :-) The weird thing is, I have tons of bookmarks!

Everyone else saying they have beautifully crafted bookmarks and there's me like... folding over the page for the win!

Been using my car tab renewal for to long, they were due in May lol oops! Try explaining that to the officer...
