Two I rated 5 stars:

Kill Switch

Kane and Abel

Cindy | 728 comments The Dinner by Herman Koch and The Accursed by Joyce Carol Oates were both incredibly fantastic!!! Neither is exactly horror but both have elements of the perverse. The Accursed is nice, gothic horror and The Dinner is just full on twisted!!!

Grampy (goodreadscomgrampy) Paul - Check out "The Applegate Garden" by Roberta Gibson. It's a white-knuckle nail-biter, and very well written, too. Link below:

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Cindy, The Dinner looks intriguing but I wonder what's up with all the three star ratings? That to me is just an "eh" kind of story.

How sweet, what an honor! I'm reading some more of the Great Gatsby before bed and then I should be ready to face another day ... Sigh, if my cats could read I'd be jealous of their lifestyle lol

Sounds like a plan!
I know what you mean. If my dog could read, instead of just sleeping on my books, I'ed be green with envy, too! ;)
