Is anyone else watching this- it's a great show that revolves around many of the characters in red dragon- however in the tv series- Hannibal is a free man and works with the fbi- no one knows he is a killer.

curious to hear everyone's comments!

I've really enjoyed the series so far. I was a bit upset when NBC chose not to air one of the episodes, in light of the events in Boston. I had to purchase the episode from itunes for continuities sake.

i'm sure they will probably air the episode at a later date.

I love the show too- I also cringe every time Hannibal cooks dinner for his colleagues :O

I heard it was good, and I really enjoyed the movies.
I'll probably find out some time to watch the series, too.

I, too, enjoy watching the show but was disappointed to miss that episode. I saw that it was supposed to be on NBC.com but I couldn't find it on there. I wished that they would put it on the On Demand for those who choose to still watch it.

After watching the episode, I'm convinced it was a severe overreaction on the part of NBC. Compared to other episodes in the series, the amount of visible violence in this episode was minimal. It was actually one of the more effective psychological thrillers I've seen in a while.

Figures. I think sometimes they do go overboard when something like the bombing happens. I think they should just put a disclaimer up before airing the episode and leave it up to the viewers. The same thing was done with one of the last episodes of Haven as well.

Mads has such an evil face. Great actor, but I fear he'll be typecast for evermore.

I fear for the ratings as well. In the past couple of weeks, the show has really started to come into its own. The characters are some of the most well drawn characters currently on network television.

Lots of TV shows have had poor ratings but through DVD sales acquired a cult following. Mad Men started off pretty poorly as well, as far as ratings are concerned. If people don't want to watch it, then it's their loss.

I just started watching and I really enjoy the show. I have never read the Hannibal books and the show is making me want to read them.

I was excited to begin watching the second season last week. If the first 5 minutes are any indication, should be a great season. I think this show is the most well-written on tv today.

When I saw a tv thread I immediately thought of Hannibal seeing as it's one of my favorite shows on right now. So I'm resurrecting this thread.

I have the last two episodes to watch but so far I'm effy on this season. I like it because it unfortunately might be it's last which I hope it isn't. I don't like the whole Red Dragon thing, at least not at first I didn't, I'm sure I'll be more open to it as the season progresses.

I hope someone picks this show up!

I've got a few episodes to watch but am liking it a lot, one of my favorite shows. I will miss it when it's gone.

I have 2 episodes to watch plus I'm recording the last one tonight which they say is the series finale but I hope someone picks it up. I've heard the finale is suppose to be crazy..then again this whole show is so I'm very interested to know what they define as "crazy".

I really enjoyed the first two seasons but I'm not really enjoying this season, although I quite like the red dragon story

I've been watching the show too. I haven't seen the last couple of episodes (I think I am somewhere in the middle) but I have to say- it isn't as good as the other seasons. It's had some seriously chilling episodes (the one where he cuts the doctor in pieces along her length!- goosebumps! And that's not even the best of it!) and this season started off brilliantly but somehow it's lost that quality now.
I didn't hear those cancellation rumors! Are they real? Gosh I hope not, I love the show! And Mads in it. I can't picture anyone else as Hannibal now. He's got such a unique face! Kinda like Cumberbatch. Their jawlines are so chiseled!

I hate that they cancelled this show. I hate it for two big reasons; one for the fact that they shopped it around different places such as Amazon, Netflix and SyFy and no one picked it up. Second, they cancelled this show that was unlike any other on television and yet NBC will air these ridiculous comedies and never-ending Cop/Hospital dramas that every other network has some form of.
