Culture & History of Middle East discussion

Anyone has read any of Dr. Khalidi books? If so which one?

I hadn't necessarily heard of him before but after looking him up here on good reads (Rashid Khalidi in case anyone else wants to look up his works) I did see several works of his or in which he is featured that I'm interested in reading at some point. They were:
Palestinian Identity: The Construction of Modern National Consciousness

American Writers Of Arab Descent, including: Khalil Gibran, Mona Simpson (novelist), Naomi Shihab Nye, William Peter Blatty, Hussein Ibish, Lawrence Joseph, Mikha'il Na'ima, Hanna Batatu, Ray Hanania, Anthony Shadid, Diana Abu-jaber, Rashid Khalidi

His other works look interesting too but they are not within the scope of my usual interests.

'Palestinian Identity' is very interesting and a strong ideological book to read. I've read portions of it and enjoyed much of it. Now that I have time on my hands I will read the entirety of it. What I like the most in his style of writing is how direct and blunt his arguments are.
