My picks:
- Shallan Davar from Way of Kings
-Arya Stark from Game of Thrones
-Vin from Mistborn
-Cattie-brie from the Legend of Drizzt
-Triss from Blood of Elves
-Kitty from The Bartimaeus Trilogy
-Katniss from Hunger Games
-Hermione from Harry Potter
-Sabriel from, well, Sabriel xD
Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm probably missing some big ones xP

Hermione-Harry Potter
Xhex- Black Dagger Brotherhood
and the girl from Divergent and the girl from Delirium

Tris Prior - Divergent
Lena Haloway - Pandemonium and Requiem (in Delirium she was great, but not really a heroine!)
Juliette - Shatter Me (Mostly because she is semi-insane!)

and I to have a hard time with Katniss. *not sure if this would be considered a spoiler but just in case. . . spoiler* There were a few times that she did some very selfish things and never learned from them. I do not find those inspiring qualities.

Yes! I adore Jane Eyre. One of my favorites. :) Agree with most of the others above. I will add:
Daenerys Targaryen - A Song of Ice and Fire

Hermoine - Harry Potter
Clary - Mortal Instruments
Sita - Thirst series
Annabeth - Percy Jackson
:))

Hermione - Harry Potter
Katsa - Graceling
Fire - Fire
Bitterblue - Bitterblue
And I'm sure more, but those are the ones off the top of my head thatI think are absolutely perfect heroines

Hermione Granger- Harry Friggin' Potter
Liesel Meminger- The Book Thief
Jane Eyre- Jane Eyre
Lyra from His Dark Materials, though I haven't read, how does she sound for this place? O.o

WE HAVE THE SAME HEROINES!!!"
GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE! :3 <3

Hermoine - Harry Potter

I hadn't even thought of Annabeth but she is amazing! I totally admire her drive and determination. Especially in Mark of Athena.

Agreed so much! That entire book is so inspiring.
And I second everyone saying Hermione. I just adore her.
Also, Violet from A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Haha, then why's he under "Most Inspiring Heroine"?! :D"
haha, idk Rita. I was not the one who made the original comment. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding.

I think Arya Stark is one of my favorite characters from this seires. I can't wait to see how her story concludes. For so young a person, she is incredibly resilient.

Violet Baudelaire. Excellent choice.

Opal (Storm Glass)
Diana Bishop (Discovery of Witches)"
I just finished "Discovery of Witches". It is a spectacular book. I admire Diana but I'm not sure if I put her at the top. Can I ask what you liked so much about her?

Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles (Rizzoli and Isles Books & Film)
Anne (Anne of Green Gables)
Bobbie (The Railway Children)
Olanna (Half of a Yellow Sun)
Hermione (Harry Potter)

Eowyn (The Lord of the Rings)
Lyra Silvertongue (His Dark Materials)
Jo March (Little Women)
Hermione Granger (Harry Potter)
Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games)
It's hard to choose, there are so many!
