Who is Brynna in this series?

I thought I was following the family tree throughout the series and get stumped with Brynna and her girls. Who is she and how is she related to these families? Is she just a family friend?
Just finished Rock with Me and love the series. The next book is supposed to be about Caleb and Brynna, but I can't figure out the connection - HELP?

you need to readUnder The Mistletoe With Me it is #1.5 in the series and introduces you to Brynna, she is Stacy's cousin
if you did not read Under the Mistletoe I recommend it, its Stacy and Isaac's story. Brynna is Stacy's cousin she is running from someone with her twin girls but no details as to whom she is running from, my guess the twins father. She and Caleb have a thing since the beginning but he would not take it further until Leo's story.
Brynna is the cousin who is in serious jeopardy from her ex. They fear for the lives of her and her 2 daughters. She has come to Seattle to be protected from her crazy dangerous ex husband.
