It's really good.

It's high on my TBR list : at about #4 at the moment, after some group reads.

It's also so good that the number of pages is a non-issue. It goes by quickly.

It's a British crime, the first in a series ( Andrew Hunter)

I love that, Skye! I was telling my husband yesterday that I enjoy this group more than any others I'm in because of the people here.

Love to hear comments on Mo Hayder's "Birdman". I find her a brilliant author but a very tough read.

I am now reading a particular eye for villainy by ann granger after reading her previous book in the series, it was the third and this one is the fourth, which i usually dont do but these were library books so you have to take what you can get, and I have found another crime author to follow damn and blast libraries ( not really love em to pieces) hehe I just love the vivid descriptions of victorian london with a full range of characters just love it

Haven't read that series, but a long time ago I read her Meredith & Markby series while going through my English village phase.

how did you find her writing style? If you like that series I would suggest this one but I havent read the first or second having come halfway through the series but I feel its worth a read :)

I like the ambience of England and Ireland during certain periods; this series sounds lovely.

its ok :)yeah I found this series well to my liking I have also checked out her bibliography to see what else she's done and I have to say am hooked :)

I finished Relic last night. It was a great book.

I just finished C.J. Lyons After Shock and Kill Zone. Just started Hard fall, the newest of the series!

I just finished The Goldfinch, big and fat and worth the time, but I could have done without the last chapter or so. Still, it would be perfect for a 9-hour flight. No way you'll finish before your flight is over.

I read it from West Palm Beach to Hawaii and still didn't finish it!

I enjoyed her first couple of books, but did not really like The Distant Hours. It never quite captured me either.......probably why I haven't yet bothered with The House at Riverton. Let me know how you get on. 8:D

I'm reading Light of the World by James LeeBurke. This author is a huge favorite of mine.

I just finished readingFives and Twenty-Fives, what a great book! Right before that I read If I Stay.

Sadly I'm on the last of the C.J. Lyons Lucy Guardino FBI Thrillers series Hard Fall. I'll have to find something new after this.
