Catching up on Classics (and lots more!) discussion

This is to discuss the following parts:
"The Pacific Journal of Adam Eweing" - "The Ghastly Ordeal of Timothy Cavendish".
That should be around 180 pgs.

Soooo.....what do folks think so far? I have not seen the movie yet, so please don't give away the ending, but feel free to discuss spoilers from these four sections. There is definitely a thread tying all of these stories together, but I'm not sure what it is just yet. I'm guessing it has something to do with reincarnation since Louisa made references to déjà vu and a birth mark. Also, Sixsmith ties into two different stories, but in very different was, and letters are being carried over to different storylines. Still, it's a little confusing to get a snippet of a story, and then start over with a completely different story with only a vague reference to a past one. Also, is it just me, or is every character dying or being killed at the end of their story? I am very curious to see how all of these stories are going to tie together.
