Carrie Hello everyone! I really want to get into reading but I find it really difficult for me to find books I enjoy to read. I am hoping that your recommendations will help me find a series or an author that I will enjoy to read.

I am looking for easy reads, not too much fluff (descriptive/wordy), not too many characters and I am looking for recommendations that don't include books that jump back and forth in the story between timeline and characters, I find it confusing.

I am looking for your must-read booklists, stories that you finished relatively quick because you couldn't put the book down. I am looking to read something that has an extraordinary story, a book that has you on the edge of your chair, a nail bitter, has you staying up all night to finish it, a book that is unpredictable and shocking. I am looking for books to do with crime, mystery, biographies (something like the stoning of sonya m. ) and fiction but for fiction I am looking for something that has a complicated storyline, something intriguing and addictive maybe a combination of some of these themes: tragic, comedic, violent, sex, adventures, traveling ) something like reconstructing amelia

Open to any recommendations, I appreciate your input.

Thanks so much

Amanda Harmon I'm not sure if they fit but I loved special topics in calamity physics and the little giant of Aberdeen county
