Randi couldn't get into it.
Cindy found it engrossing and didn't want it to end.
I'm with Cindy on this one. :)
This book was a page-turner for me. I looked forward to reading it each day. The author is a master at setting up an atmosphere of suspense and mystery. Some folks at our library group's discussion thought that certain parts of the story seemed contrived, but that didn't bother me. Instead, the contrived parts made it more interesting. As another person said (quoting Samuel Taylor Coleridge), we read fiction with "that willing suspension of disbelief".
I've categorized this book on my Goodreads bookshelves as follows:
a-story-within-a-story, compelling, fiction, loved-it, mystery, selection-of-library-bk-group, suspense
