Empress (the_empress) I have never seen such a request before. Are we adding them to GR, and how exactly should they be handled.

Google Play GGKEY: NECBAZYX0

This is the original request: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...

Is what I see - seems to be a way to reference a book without an established standard number.

I think that at the moment, I would personally just make the note in the Librarian Note field for the ePub as that is what the Google Play edition seems to be drawn from. I do see that 9781301012176 doesn't seem to work on Google Play, but that may also be a regions thing so not sure.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 6325 comments Handling like OCLC numbers and other library/database identifiers makes more sense to me than putting in a librarian note only visible to librarians (unless being treated as bookseller data — in which case staff need to weigh in).

Check this. I've noticed it lately for some books.

It's under the green button. Surprisingly the WHOLE book is on that link.

Deon (deonva) | 3718 comments it is actually only a preview, the same preview if you were searching on http://books.google.com/books

Google Preview (which has been available on GR from years for many books) has nothing to do with Google Play.
