Hey I'm Emily. I'm a print journalism and studio art major.... planning to go to law school (thank God for a liberal arts school that let me do this). My brother is an English professor and got me started on this site since I was constantly asking him what I should read next. I have a hard time finding time to read for myself during the school year, so I'm happy to have a break so I can do some catching up.

Hi eveyone! I am just joining this group! I am 22 and just started going back to school for nursing fall of 09 so I have quite some time left!! I love reading and so I hope this will keep me reading as it's hard to read leisurely when I keep telling myself I should be reading my textbooks instead!!

Hey everyone, I'm new to the group and to Goodreads in general (just made this account last night). I'm a Sophomore in college and 19 years of age. I'm really looking forward to being in a book reading group cause I'm always looking for new books to read!
Well I'm probably going to be majoring in Psychology. When I first started college I didn't even think of doing this, but once I took a psychology course I fell in love. It also helped when Zimbardo (the prison experiment guy and writer of psychology text books) visited our school!

Welcome to the group Mim, Richard, and Kelsey!And Kelsey, I will share! I'm majoring in psych; I'm taking Developmental Psychology currently, and I think it's my favorite psych class so far. We are studying toddlers right now....toilet training is apparently a very moral issue.
Hello,I'm a senior at the University of Florida; history major with a focus in Russian and a minor in education. One more year and then I start a master's in secondary social studies education. I'm between semesters right now so I get a brief reminder of what it's like to have a life. I'm sure that will disappear again once classes start but till then, time to read. YAY!

I definitely have to agree that reading pleasure books during the school year is definitely tough, but I'm hoping a book group will push me beyond chilling out with netflix while breaking from homework. Hey, guys! I just joined the group. Not technically a college student at the moment (have 114 credits with a semester to go but had to leave school because of financial and family matters) but I suppose I'll continue considering myself one until I get my diploma, heh.
Alright...well I am not really new. I have actually been a member for awhile and was really active with the group. Then it just kind of stopped. I am hoping that I can come back and be a way more active member...if you'll let me everyone! :) I am not a college student anymore, so that might be a problem too. Are you allowing non-college memebers? I just graduated last December. But I really miss this group and enjoyed it greatly before!
A little bit about me..I graduated from University of Northern Colorado in December '09 with a degree in Special Education. I just got married this last July 10th. It was an extremely special day! I have 2 dogs (one is a puppy) and a Guinea pig.

Hey everyone, I am a 24 year old college student (I took 2 years off before I went to college) My major is secondary education in English.I LOVE to read pretty much anything I can get my hands on. I love finding people around my age that feel the same.
I am in a book club in my community with the woman all around 40.....soooooo needless to say I get excited when I find people my age that enjoy it as much as I do.

Hi! I'm brand new to goodreads so I'm glad I found this group so quickly. Anywho, I'm an English Lit major and a lifelong book lover. I'm one of those non-athletic former outcast kids, so books have been a refuge for me, and now i have the added bonus of them hopefully becoming a steady source of income in the near future.Can't wait to start the December books with everyone!
