I liked that book. I pictured the two main characters as Castle and Beckett from the tv show.

message 622: by Rob (new)

Rob G. (rdgarland) | 16 comments I've been on a murder mystery kick lately, so I just finished "Dark Places" by Gillian Flynn and have decided to go a bit darker for my next one. I've just started "Dark Hollow" by John Connolly. I read "Every Dead Thing" awhile ago and it bothered me enough that I've waited two years to start the next one here. I've got to be in the mood for murder and mayhem.

If you like Mystery and horror, I suggest Falling Angel. It's especially dark :)

Aditya Kathryn wrote: "Reading Firestarter with Michelle!"

Shell wrote: "Started Firestarter yesterday and I'm loving it so far!"

Firestarter was a great sci-fi book & I would go as far as saying it is one of King's best. It has a much tighter plot than most other King books, hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

message 639: by Aditya (new)

Aditya Erin wrote: "Congo by Michael Crichton

I have read almost everything Crichton had written & I found Congo to be one of his average books. It sets up a great premise but its ending is a bit of a letdown. Hope you enjoy it.

I am glad to hear it is more sci-fi. I really loved The Dead Zone, so hearing this makes me extra excited to read Firestarter. :)

Stevo (stevop) | 230 comments Adam wrote: "Joyland. Finally! Never have I waited so long to read a King novel."

Joylands next for me after the monstrously sized Luminaries. The longest wait for an SK novel would have to go to Wizard & Glass and then Wolves of the Calla though. ;)
