The most underrated story of the compilation but still a great read. Really enjoyed The Breathing Method, haunting & melancholic at the same time a different kind of horror than what most conventional fans of the genre seem to prefer. Needless to say Different Seasons as a whole was great too.

Finished Gerald's Game one of the worst King books I have read. It is entirely dull & boring & a lot of fans believe it seems to mark the onset of that phase of King's career where he started writing very average books. If this is anything to go by those criticisms may just be right.

Definitely deserves a second chance as a read all by itself.

I've recently finished Something Wicked This Way Comes and Stairway to Heaven: Led Zeppelin Uncensored.

Now I'm reading Christine.

Reading Odd Thomas again. I read it a long time ago but never finished the series. Starting it again. I finally finished the Da Vinci Code. Wasn't sure I was going to like it but I did.

I'm reading two Bachman books I've never read before - Rage and Thinner.

After these I'm lining up The Lord of the Rings.

I've got my Bachman books on my Stephen King shelf, and Thinner is a planned read for very soon :)

I'm reading Black House at the moment.

Thinner is a good supernatural thriller but Rage I felt was all over the place & one of the more average works of King's career.

Found my copy and going to start reading Christine today! :)

I am currently trying to read A Clockwork Orange but the language in the book makes me only able to read a few pages at a time haha

Finished Dolores Claiborne an average book. It is not even close to the worst book I have read but there are so many better books available that reading this felt like a waste of time.

Just started reading The Cuckoo's Calling. Great book so far. It's like Harry Potter, but there's no magic or wizards or Hogwarts or quidditch.

You know, it's nothing like Harry Potter at all actually.

Reading Full Dark, No Stars! Holy smokes King is knocking me out of my seat with these shorter stories! Very grim, page turning, horrific stories reflective of life. No supernatural in the first two stories just blood curdling descriptive eebie jeebies!

I've finished The Cuckoo's Calling, a good, but not excellent mistery and now I'm reading The Ocean at the End of the Lane, a magic story by Neil Gaiman.

Finished A Drink Before The War . Dennis Lehane is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. Another great book & seldom have I read any other author whose debut book is this mature & entertaining at the same time. Recommended to all members.

Thanks Justin btw the name is Aditya. In my country the name Aditya is given to male but when you forget the "a" at the end it becomes the name of a girl.

That's a good one. 1922 is excellent! Big Driver was good too

Finished Darkness Take My Hand another great book by Dennis Lehane. I usually don't read series books continuously as the writing style gets repetitive but these books are so great they keep me coming back for more.

On a side note a lot of authors try the cliche of a worldly-wise sarcastic anti-hero like Jack Reacher by Lee Child or a pair of detectives with a lot of sexual tension between them like King & Maxwell series by David Baldacci. After reading Dennis Lehane it seems those other books were written by complete hacks & they could learn a lesson or two how to write such stuff from Lehane.

That was a great series of books except for the last one.

A couple of days ago I finished , a wonderful story. Now I'm reading and I like it, also if I read only few pages.

Thanks for the feedback. I hear the last one was written a long time after the initial 5 books. But so far the series have been great & I hope to finish it up within this month or the next.

Still early into it.

Finally gave in to reading World War Z and not disappointed, so far. By the way, I didn't like the movie but the book is different.

Reading The Way of Kings, liking it a lot. Should be done this week with this huge book. Next up: Ancillary Justice.

Palace of the Damned but almost finished it :)

Kinda been slacking off with my readin'. Gah! Wish I had more free time. So many good books to read.

Finished Sacred by Dennis Lehane, when it comes to thrillers this is as good as they come.Really enjoyed it.

Finished The Black Echo by Michael Connelly, one of the most realistic & engrossing police procedurals I have read.Look forward to reading more books in the Harry Bosch series.

Just started NOS4A2. Grabbed my attention right away. Joe Hill is becoming one of my favorites.

Joe Hill is great. Has maybe even a better sense of humor than his Dad, and can be almost as scary.

Finishing up and enjoying historical romance Enchantress Mine... what was really going on in 1066. Sadly stalled 3/4 through the audiobook of Duma Key until my wife and I can get time to listen to it together. But going through the audio book of Christine on my own and loving it. Next up: Teacher Teacher by John Locke, also thinking about world war Z, since it't gotten so many good reviews here.

I've changed genre again and now I'm reading Christine.

I'm reading "To read at dusk" a collection of ghost stories by Charles Dickens, who's one of my favourite author.

Just started The Turtle Boy by Kealan Patrick Burke. Too soon to tell whether it's going to be any good but I will say it's not up to Stephen King's standards.

Reading The Dinner by Herman Koch. Not horror but psychologically dark.
