Dan Murrell | 1 comments I just finished Fairy Tale, and thought it was a great read. Some of my all time favorites are Eyes of the Dragon and The Talisman, so it makes sense that Fairy Tale would be another fave.

I’ve also got On Writing in progress, so going back to that, as well as Wool from the Silo series.

I love those three as well. He does such a fantastic job of writing from the viewpoint of the young, and the fairy tale aspect is a bonus.

Would anyone like to buddy read this with me?
I'm new to goodreads and am not sure exactly how a buddy read
works so would like to know more about it as well. Thanks so much.

Adrienne L I'm currently reading A Child Alone With Strangers which owes a lot to King, in characters and subject matter. There are definitely nods to The Shining at the very least. I will probably pick up End of Watch or If It Bleeds soon.

Hi Adriennelee,
Hope you'll consider reading Stephen King's "Finders Keepers" with the group book read for March.

Andrew✌️ (andrew619) | 335 comments Yesterday I started Sherlock Holmes Through Time and Space, an interesting collection of novel that directly or indirectly are based on Sherlock Holmes. The first novel is a classical by Conan Doyle, the other I think are more of sciFi genre by other authors.

Ok, Valerie! I guess every novel, except the first by Conan Doyle, is a mix between a mystery and a sciFi novel, in some way linked to Holmes that is the main character or supporting one. We will see.😀

You need not prioritize this book, Poirot plays a minor, and unsatisfying, role. There are MANY other Poirot novels that are much better: Murder on the Orient Express, Murder on the Nile, Murder in Mesopotamia, etc. Enjoy!
