I'm still reading Blue Notes - about two-thirds in. I know for sure I'll read the rest of this series.

I really want to continue with the series too, SheReadsAlot - I have The Melody Thief on my kindle waiting for me :)

I finished the book. I rated 3.5 stars. It was cute a bit wordy at times, any issues easily resolved. I am excited to read about that maestro and musician's love story, so I'll probably skip to that book (plus I'm reading it for review) I liked the secondary characters a lot.

I've finally finished. IDK - I didn't really connect with the characters, which is why it took me so long to finish. The writing was easy to read, so I don't know what wasn't right, but it was just a bit 'also-ran' in general. I guess I'll rate it 2.5 stars but round up to 3 stars.

I'm glad I've read it though :) I'd sort of love to read the other lawyer, Sam's book (if there is one) but I'm not sure I'm game if it follows the same style.

The kid/man, older/younger, french/american, writing style didn't overly bother me until toward the end, but that could be because I wasn't totally invested.

Not that I didn't want you to love this book... but I'm kinda glad that it's not just me :D

LOL! I guess we can't ALL love the same books, right? I'm not quite game to rate it 2 stars because I can't quite pinpoint why it wasn't my cup of tea (except that that I wasn't invested), although that rating is probably about right.

The series can be read as stand-alones so you don't have to read them in order. If you want to read it at some point let me know, I would definitely read it with you :)
