Larisa Walk | 71 comments Werewolf: not everyone in the Middle Ages thought werewolves were evil; 1 old man thought they were sent by God to battle demons in Hell. The only reason he didn't get burnt at the stake by the Inquisition was because he was 80 years old (very old in those days) and thought to be senile.

Larisa Walk | 71 comments Werewolf: in the Middle Ages people thought that mental illness could make you a werewolf. The bipolar disorder was considered the greatest risk for turning a person into a werewolf.

Larisa Walk | 71 comments Werewolf: in the Middle ages if you were unusually hairy or had the eyebrows that met in the middle of your forehead, you were considered to be at high risk of becoming a werewolf.
