Kelli C (kellimcassell) | 11 comments Great tips! I've been a Twitter lurker for a while and am just now trying to build a following -- not as easy as I thought it would be. Haha! Slowly but surely, I will get there. :) @ke2ls1i

Hi Kelli,

To save some time and aggravation, you might want to pick a book on Twitter. (They're always out of date, but include the basics for getting going. I borrowed a couple from the local library. Also, my site has more tips for getting started.) Go get'em!

Hi Kelli, I usually find that if you follow people who have similar interests as you, then they're likely to follow you back. Also, there are some people who advertise 'follow back' in their profile snippet. Hope that helps.

A great excuse to visit my library again. By the way, I just added your site to my feed reader. :)

Great idea. I just need to remember to be patient and give enough time for a follow back. Patience is not strong with this one. Ha!
