Nora Roberts - Brazen Virtue
Brazen Virtue (SS/BV #2) by Nora Roberts

NOTE: this book is loosely connected to Sacred Sins

SOME VIRTUES ARE NEGOTIABLE...

The steamy summer streets of Washington are no match for the phone lines of Fantasy, Inc., where every man's dreams come true. The "hotline" works perfectly for its anonymous clients and the teachers and housewives who moonlight as call girls...until a brilliant madman plugs in with twisted passion.

A differed kind of passion brings Grace McCabe and Ed Jackson together -- a passion for justice, revenge...and each other.

Grace McCabe, the gorgeous best-selling mystery writer is determined to trap her sister's killer, to bait him with the same seductive voice that triggered his murderous lust...

Ed Jackson, the handsome cop assigned to the case, has finally found the love of his life, and lost his professional cool.

Somewhere in the darkness someone is waiting, listening for the voice that will bring him back to the scene of the crime for one last thrill, promising ecstasy -- and death.

Jennifer Kronk I started reading this today and am breezing through it. While I am enjoying it as a suspense novel, I have to complain about the title. So far (about pg. 140), the title has nothing to do with the book. Nothing at all.
Petty complaint, but it is kind of bugging me. ;)

Miss Kim (thatsmisskimtoyou) I really liked this one! I had read Sacred Sins a few months before, and when I picked up this one i was thinking..."Hey wait a minute! I know this health food nut!" I thought Ed and Grace made a sweet couple.

The title is not so great, I agree. Would it be referring to Grace's virtue?

Sherry (wstridgerunner) I thought the title related to Grace and how she was "virtuous" in character, yet brazen to do anything to help nail her sisters killer, like doing "phone sex". Anyhoo, that's what I thought it was referring to.
